EXCILIGHT research:

Gintautas will explore covering techniques required for OLED production including different device characterisation techniques to develop encapsulation techniques for protection, utilise the advantages of the OVPD process and improve the exciplex layer and OLED.

2015-2016: Worker in the project of scientific co-operation program of Lithuania-Belarus “Synthesis and investigation of new monomers and polymers for organic light-emitting diodes”:

  • Synthesis and photopolymerization of organic semiconductors containing reactive functional groups.
  • Thermal, optical, photophysical, electrochemical studies of monomers and polymers

2015: Visiting scholar at Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) by FP7 project “Centre of Excellence in Organic Semiconductor Research” (CEOSeR):

  • Synthesis of polymers for organic light-emitting diodes.
  • Molecular weight determination of polymers by gel permeation chromatography (GPS).
